Awards Philosophy
The Grand Beer Challenge rewards quality, not rankings. Through meticulous blind tasting, our expert judges award Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals to every beer that meets GBC competition standards. From the Gold medalists, a second tasting selects one Trophy per category—the highest honor. Without standout quality, no medals are given. We honor every standout beer, plain and simple.
